The Vintage Aeroplane Co., was established after years of working with student pilots and aviation educators. Over the years I''ve noticed that both students and instructors often struggle with understanding or conveying certain concepts. It's no surprise and of no fault of their own, younger generations that are now joining the pilot ranks never grew up in a world where combustion engines utilized carburetors and magnetos. Long gone are the days of checking all the fluids in the ole' Chevy before a drive, or setting the choke and getting the throttle just right on a cold day to get the car to fire. I aim to simplify various aviation concepts by developing training aids that can be used by instructors and students alike to help understand the operation of aircraft and their systems. More specifically, I aim to help pilots learn how to maintain and operate those systems and identify failure modes and react accordingly. As I work to build our product line I encourage you to check back regularly. As a full-time airline pilot and part-time instructor I aim to produce high quality, affordable, teaching and training aids for the general aviation community,. Like flying a J3 Cub, I like to take product development low and slow to get it just right. If you have an idea, we can help make it happen. If you have any questions, please drop us an email and we'll get back as quickly as we can. Thank you!
